A Majority Of Canadians Will Respect The Privacy Of Harry And Meghan

It is no secret that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Harry, and Meghan, will be leaving the British monarchy.
A survey conducted across Canada revealed that a majority of Canadians support/or somewhat support Canada maintaining its ties with the Royal Family. They also believe that the Royals handled Harry and Meghan’s decision to step back from royal duties well. However, the survey also found that a majority of Canadians don’t believe that Canada should foot the bill for Harry and Meghan’s security costs.
About 7/10 Canadians believe that Harry and Meghan will not have as much media attention and scrutiny like they did in the United Kingdom. They also assert that Canadians will be more likely to respect Harry and Meghan’s privacy than the British.
